Glass furniture casters!

Not Pyrex, I know; they are marked Hazel Atlas, and I have a soft spot for HA because my grandmother worked there for years, so I always think there's a chance she might have made anything I find. I had no idea what they were until I found them on etsy. Who would have thought furniture casters would be made of glass! I'm planning to use them as tealight holders! $2 for the entire box of 20 (5 large and 15 small) so even tho I had no idea what they were, it was totally worth it for the mystery.

  1. My mother-in-law has always used glass furniture casters under her beds & piano. They're great on carpet!

  4. In some regions, furniture coasters may also be known as caster cups or floor glides. Crutch-tip-style furniture caps, which fit snugly over the base of each leg, feature a slightly different design and appearance than other types of furniture coasters.

  7. I love the collection of artists...I can always count on you to bring art to light that I haven't seen...the focus on texture and the way the objects play off of each other is inspiring.
