My First Completed Set!

Yesterday, my husband surprised me with some cute Pyrex gifts that he had found in an antique/thrift store by a customers house he was working at.
He found me this cute snowflake design butter dish.  I already have this pattern but its always a good idea to have a backup!
He also got this 2 cup measuring cup.  Whats unique about this is that it says "Patent Pending" on it.  Does that mean its old?
Finally, he brought me three Spring Blossom mixing bowls.  I already had the 2-1/2 Quart (403) but the one he found was in way better condition.  This find resulted in
My first completed set!  Not my favorite pattern, but its Pyrex just the same.  He got it all for $15.00.  I think thats a pretty good deal.  How about you?

  1. Great deal! Way to go! I was at an estate sale the other day with full 4 bowl sets for $30-$40!!! The ones that were $30 were in terrible shape!
