Ringing in 2012

Happy New Year! Unfortunately, I'm starting 2012 off with a sick day, so what better to do than catch up on the Pyrex Collective blogs and share my own Pyrex Christmas gifts. My mom and sister allowed me to cross two things off of my wish list: a Christmas promo bowl and a Mod Decorator Casserole (complete with lid and cradle) - be still, my heart!

The Verde #444 was from my aunt who randomly pulled it out of the cabinet and gave it to me at a family Christmas party. This particular aunt had previously given me the orange and yellow New Dots bowls as a housewarming gift.


I'm lucky my family and boyfriend humor me and support my Pyrex obsession, especially my mom. We would go antiquing/garage sale-ing and she always had an interest in vintage kitchenware, including Pyrex. She is slowly passing along some of the Pyrex in her collection - Friendship mixing bowls and a red fridgie that was my grandmother's.


I hope 2012 turns out to be a great year for everyone!
