My Husband's Weekend Finds

I went to an antique show/fundraiser on Saturday but found nothing. My husband was out of town and he spent a good part of Saturday stopping at thrift stores on the way home. He had much better luck than I! This is a shot of most of his finds. He also found a couple lids we need and the little clear round dish pictured in a previous post. I think he spent less than $20 for everything.

He loves blue, so his favorites are the two snowflake dishes. The spacesaver dish shows some wear, but the round 1 qt snowflake blue casserole is in very nice shape! The cat was not included.

We also like little fridgies, and try to buy them whenever we find them reasonably priced. Two are from the Town and Country series, and I’m not sure what set the butterscotch dish is from.

Then on Sunday he stopped at the Goodwill in town where I always stop and have never found anything. His first time there and he comes home with these for 75 cents, a pretty American Heritage dish and a white Corning Ware teapot in great condition. I couldn't believe it!

And he was disappointed not to have found anything in pink for me. I think he was very successful!

  6. Wonderful finds!! My favs are the blue snowflake dishes. I think the butterscotch colored fridgie is from the Old Orchard series. I bought a divided dish last week, and it's the same color as your fridgie.
