Any ideas?

I am new here and am loving seeing everyone's Pyrex finds! I have some Pyrex and I love to use it. This dish was recently gifted to me and I have no idea what to use it for. I know I could use it for regular casseroles or pastas but I want to make something that actually uses both sides. What was the original purpose of this dish? Any ideas?

  1. I always have fresh cut veggies in my fridge. Mine typically has peppers, cucumbers or celery in it.

  2. I think of it more as a serving dish than a cooking dish. As of this weekend I now own 3. Is that too many???

  3. I have a few of those too and I like to serve contrasting vegetables in them, such as peas and corn, carrots and brussel sprouts, etc.. You could also serve two colours of tortilla chips (blue corn, white corn), or cheetos and pretzels or m&m and popcorn. Just a few suggestions!

  4. I've wondered that too, as I've seen these on pyrex sites (don't have one yet). Love these ideas! Thanks for sharing!
