Rare Black Rooster Pattern!

Look how gorgeous this is! It is a promotional pattern, only produced in the spring of 1958.

I found it in pristine condition at an antique mall for a mere $5.00, complete with a lid! The lid does not match and is from the Golden Pine promotional pattern from 1961.

Unfortunately, we have a teensy tiny kitchen and I only allow myself to keep pieces of Butterprint, everything else must go on eBay or Etsy. It's really hard to let some of them (like this one) go though.

If anybody has any Butterprint they would be interested in trading let me know!

  1. That is a very cool piece. I found some Butterprint casseroles today and bought them to trade. What size is this dish?

I'm really wanting both the 404 and 503 in the Butterprint right now. But of course I would also accept any pieces in the pink or orange Butterprint!

And the casserole is a 2 qt.

  9. Ha, no worries. It's the largest size of refrigerator dish. I want it so bad because it's so perfect for baking!
