There are several 043s in that color scheme. I found the Golden Garland (I think that's the name, that's all I could find online.) one a couple months ago: http://daydreaminginturquoise.blogspot.com/2012/02/golden-scrolls-golden-garlands.html
I'm not the biggest fan of the color or Pyrex gold leaf in general. I'm probably going to trade it so if anyone is interested let me know!
I also found a similar looking casserole with the goldleaf on yellow. Mine looked like golden grapes, but was not. It also had a beautifully ornate lid that I had certainly never seen before! I ended up reselling it on ebay, but someone snapped it up quick on a BIN, so there definitely are people out there collecting these!
Here's an update... someone in the Flickr group 'Pyrex Love' said it's (unofficially) called 'Golden Rosette.' It is a promo piece that came with a stand.
I don't know but it is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI looked on Pyrex Love & The Pyrex Files websites and can't find it. You definitely found something rare! Great job. She's a beauty.

It's a promotional casserole and a lot of them didn't have names; just decorator casserole.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Pyrex didn't really have a catalog or archives....
