Huge Homestead Casserole

Today I had a couple of hours free so I decided to stop by the local antique mall. I found some Pyrex (of course). I managed to find a dish I've never even seen before. I knew they made 4 qt casseroles but I've never actully seen it. Check it out. Dish is in minty condition but the lid does have some damage at the knob.
I'm not a huge fan of the Homestead pattern but I had to have this dish. At $15 it was slightly higher than my normal flinch point but who knows if I'll ever see another one.

The Golden Branch is an 024 and I can't seem to get enough of them. I thought the turquoise snowflake was one I needed but it turns out I already had that size. At half price it was only $5.50 so I may keep it or try to trade it. The Texasware bowl was a really good deal too.

  1. It is a big one but it's great for roasts or chicken - I have the same one.
