Goodwill Surprise

I had all but given up on my local Goodwill stores.  The prices on their Pyrex lately have been ridiculous.  $9.99 for a dishwashered yellow 402?  No thank you.  Not even on half price day.  But I had some time between yard sales the other day and thought I'd stop in.

I'm so happy I did

Here is my lovely Gooseberry 444.  Evidently the good pricers were working that day because this beauty only set me back $3.99.  My faith in Goodwill has been restored.

  1. My Goodwill has also been outrageous lately. They had a Blue Horizon casserole for $25! That's what I bought the exact same piece at an antique mall for (before I knew any better).

  3. Good deal! GW here has been nuts too. I even saw a few eBay listings posted by a GW on the West Coast. Are you kidding me?! Since when did they get so greedy?

  4. I found this one last summer at a yard sale - price $1. It's such a pretty pattern, isn't it?
