I spent this past Sunday as I spend all of my Sundays, out thrifting! I went to a rather large flea market and though they didn't have as much pyrex as I had hoped for, I still came away with quite a few great pieces.
I bought a 444 Early American mixing bowl along with a10 0z. covered utility casserole 018 for a total cost of $8
a 441 Butterfly Gold mixing bowl for $1
and two clear patterned mixing bowls for a total of $5. I have no idea what the pattern is though. If you know please tell me! :)
All in all it was a great day and $14 well spent!
According to CorelleCorner.com, the blue patterned bowls are "blue ribbon". You can find the info here: http://corellecorner.com/pyrex-model-numbers.html according to them, it's from the early 90's.
ReplyDeleteAhhh thank you so much! That was driving me crazy!
ReplyDeleteI have several of these bowls. I got them in 1972 for my wedding presents...love them and they look just as good today as they did back then.

Nice finds! I have the "Blue Ribbon" bowls too, and I love them!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love them too! I love the clear bowls for mixing in because I feel like my other bowls are just to fragile to handle an electric mixer. But clear is so boring! These bowls are the perfect combination :)
ReplyDeleteWow, you have such an awesome collection of Pyrex & have such success at thrift shops & markets! Here in Australia I think it is a bit harder to find, tho I have had a fair bit of success at thrift shops here. I'm always so excited when I fid Pyrex at thrift shops!
