Up until recently, I have always thought that the red 404 mixing bowls were part of the Friendship set. However, I have learned that the correct large bowl for that set is orange. So does anybody know if the red 404 are part of a particular set or if they were just sold individually?
Thanks in advance!
Erica
I always thought they were one of the random limited bowls that were part of the Primary set? Sold individually, but considered Primary I suppose. I have one, too! It's pretty flea-bitten and rather old, but I still love it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I always thought they were part of the Friendship too, but I can't remember. Now I know. For about a month I saw these everywhere - probably at least 10, all really bad condition, beat up, scratches, chips, dishwashed. BOO.
ReplyDeletethese were sold individually

They are part of another primary set that had a blue 401, yellow 402, green 403, and red 404.
ReplyDeleteI think there is a red 404 that goes with Friendship. The 402 was orange. There's an orange 402 that goes with Daisy.
ReplyDeleteLeslie is right. They were sold until 1968, separately. ')
