I finally found Pink Pyrex... at the thrift store!

I have been super busy the last few weeks working up to my holiday trade show, working all hours of the night and working my fingers to the bone, that I haven't had much time for thrifting.  This last weekend before Thanksgiving was my show and this week I've been able to relax and hit up a few thrift stores.

Black Friday, we were out shopping and my husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas.  I said not much since we usually just get what we need/want if we have money for it.  But I told him this year all I want is some pink pyrex (any will do!) and a Cricut.  So, while out shopping, we decided to run into the GW that we hadn't been to for several months.  Lately I have stopped going to certain GW because they have jacked up the prices on pyrex and rarely have anything decent.

We get into the GW and I've started my way over to the housewares department and start my way down the glass bowl/bakeware section.  I see a small pink gooseberry snack saver with the lid... and I snatched it up!  And 2 feet down the next size up!  and 2 feet farther down the next size up from that.  All with the lids and in glorious condition... all for $4.99 each!  Yay!  Merry Christmas to me!  (this is not my picture btw... my dishes are packed up to wrap.. but this is exactly what I found)

Next we slip into the Salvation Army and first thing I see is 50% off everything.  I'm thinking... woohoo!  maybe I'll find some pyrex!  Sure enough, I did!  All on it's own, sitting in the back corner (like it was hiddent.. haha) a Large Butterprint Blue Cinderella... for $2.99!!!  Be still my beating heart!  (again, not my pic... I really don't like using other peoples pictures at all!  arg!  But hubby has packed up to wrap for Christmas and I can't get to it)

So... Merry Christmas to me! (even if I can't use it yet!)

  7. Great finds for great prices! This weekend I found a Charcoal Snowflake divided casserole at Goodwill that I couldn't pass up, even though it was $12.99!!! I think it is the start to my own personal Pyrex collection, which will be black and white Pyrex!
