I have a booth at an antique mall, or more like vintage/upscale thrift mall type of place. The other day I noticed the owner had put this into her booth! Whoo hoo!
It's a Balloons Promotional Cinderella bowl. It was part of a chip and dip set and came out in Spring of 1958.
She did have the dip bowl as well, but unfortunately it was dishwasher damaged beyond repair.
That's okay. I'd still have to find the bracket. For now, this is pretty cool for my turquoise Pyrex collection!
There's a guy on Etsy who sells brackets that he custom makes for the chip and dip sets. I'm going to buy one for my golden grapes set. Great bowl!
ReplyDeleteThat would be me. Recreated brackets are available via my Etsy shop.

I love the Balloons, haven't seen any in the wild yet.
I've never seen one like that. Why do pretty things like that make me feel warm and happy?
ReplyDeleteYA! You found one in the wild! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI'm beyond jealous :)
