The perfect gift...of course!

This little snack server came courtesy of some late-night e-baying. It was just too cute to pass up at a fairly reasonable price.

As I was inspecting it, I noticed that the seller had left on the Goodwill price tag.

I LOVE this black and blue casserole. I had been stalking one at an antique store in Seattle, but they wanted way too much. While driving home from Thanksgiving I made a stop at the Thorpe fruit stand/antique store. It was much more reasonably priced and included the cradle. I couldn't resist!

This casserole was another result of late-night e-baying. 

I really shouldn't get on the computer after 11 pm.

It came with a little advert. So fun looking at all the pics and descriptions.

I've had this turquoise casserole for awhile, but recently found this candle warmer cradle at a thrift store in Spokane. I don't know what it originally came with, but I was delighted that it fit the basic round casseroles.

My little sister picked up a small and medium refrigerator dish in turquoise butterprint at a thrift store in Idaho. So nice of her. I love fridgies and turquoise!!

Black & White!!!

I can't resist the black and white pieces. I was thrilled to stumble on this new in box charcoal piece. I already own one white on charcoal divided dish but how could I leave this behind?

Even the box has snowflakes!

 My other finds from two different places are the two Compass pieces. I already have one with the original handle but I still like the pattern. I don't think they are supposed to have a lid but I bought them this way.

My Collection is Growing!

I found a few piece over the last two weeks. I haven't decided on a pattern or color to focus on. I am just excited to find anything at the local thrift store. This is a lot of 'firsts' for me!


My first bowl set and first Spring Blossom pieces



My first divided dish. The handle included was a major plus!

I love this piece! According to Pyrex Love is the Compass Snack Server and a Promotional Item. I just love the black and white patterns!

I bought this as a three piece set in the Homestead pattern. I am not sure if the piece on the left was supposed to have a lid too.

I'm not crazy about the Homestead pattern. If I can figure out the trading thing, maybe this will be traded.

My first butter dish!

Growing up my parents had the Butterfly Gold dishes. There is something very comforting about this pattern. It's not my favorite color scheme, but I want to collect them for sentimental reasons.

I can't wait to keep thrifting and add to my collection! I love having a place to share my finds!
