Hi Everyone!
When you think of the 1-1/2 quart Butterprint Cinderella #442 you think of this, right?
Turquoise with white graphics. This is the way it is supposed to look, right??
So then what is up with this #442 that is white with turquoise graphics? When I found it at Goodwill today, it took me a few minutes to realize that what I had put in my cart was not the norm. I was buying it as backup in case the one I had broke. But the one I had was turquoise with white!
Evidently I found something rare and for $3!! Now I am on a mission to put together a complete white with turquoise Cinderella bowl set. Wonder how long that will take?
Until next time...
Erica
My husband got a white 444 for me and I assumed it was the 443 that I needed, but when It didn't fit, I figured out that I had the large one from an all white set, I'm on a mission for the one that you just found!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, there were all white sets, just like the yellow and pink Butterprint sets. Not sure how rare they are, but cool find nonetheless!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at your alarm clock- I got the very same travel alarm when I was little, it's still at the house, it ticks too loud!!!
ReplyDelete$3 what a bargain! My GW is crazy with prices. old scratched pyrex is $8 or more.
ReplyDeleteI found a white 444 at Savers earlier this year. It was the first Butterprint I ever found...I was annoyed when I found out that it's part of the all white set, I sort of threw my hands up in the air thinking, "Well, I'll never find the other white one." lol
ReplyDeleteIt took me several years of collecting Butterprint to realize that this set existed. I finally found one earlier this year:

I think you can find the full set of five 470s in all white too but I've only stumbled upon the three smallest so far.

Good find! What a great deal!
I have that same one! My dad actually called me from the flea market where he has a booth and gave me a really bad description of it, but I went ahead and had him grab it for me for $5.
ReplyDeleteWhat are those alarm clocks called?? My dad who passed last year had one when my sister and I were little.
