My local SA is experiencing a sort of renaissance. Suddenly I'm finding Pyrex on every trip, where before I found none. I'm thrilled...BUT, they've hiked up their prices to VV levels. For example, last night I saw a set of 3 Homestead Cinderella bowls - in really nice condition, I'll give them that - for $17 (!!). This is the same place where I got this beautiful, nearly mint Green Wheat space saver for just $4 a few weeks ago.

As John Stossel of 20/20 would say - GIMME A BREAK!

Cosmopolitan with warming tray

I was so excited yesterday when I stumbled across the cosmopolitan Salton warming tray. I finally have the 3 pieces!

This is one of those weird pyrex pieces because there are versions out there that have pyrex on the bottom and with salton on the bottom. I have both versions. They are completely identical except for the name on the bottom. Salton makes warming trays and Pyrex... well you know. I love this pattern.

Hi everyone, it's my first post and I'll keep it short and fun.

Last weekend, I answered a Craigslist ad. A woman was selling a Friendship casserole.

Mint condition, glossy and a reasonable price. Yes please!





The woman then mentioned that she also had a set of Butterprint bowls for sale. Her aunt apparently kept a set for use and another one just for display. This is the display set (I snatched it up, of course!):




















And just when I thought I couldn't get any luckier...




The Pyrex potholder arrived in the mail. I'm in Canada and didn't think I would get it because of the postal code issue - but it's here and it's super cute!
